Too faced born this way foundation Review
I bought this foundation because Vanilla’s swatch looked a perfect match for my fair, neutral skin undertone. It is an oil-free foundation that provides a line between skin and makeup for a flawless finishing look.
The hydraulic acid and coconut water make my face hydrated and moisturize without clinging to any dry patches. Instead of my many moisturizers and skin care products, I choose this one over just a moisturizing primer, and it looked okay.
This undetectable coverage oil-free foundation leaves naturally radiant skin. It formed quickly without caking even after applying for extra coverage. It covers the redness on my face for a smooth finish.

My write-up on Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
I have been trying so many foundations and just having so many issues with how they wind up looking on my skin. Too faced is a medium to full coverage foundation, yet it doesn’t end up looking powdery or sticking to pores or dry skin.
The shade of this foundation is perfect, and the completion is so normal looking. I have the shade “Vanilla” – for very light skin with neutral complexions, which is an ideal match for me.
It makes a face look natural, not cakey. The best primer that goes with the born this way foundation for me is elf primer before putting it on. However, I incline that I don’t need to put any more cosmetics products all over.
Its oil-free formula makes it suitable for oily skin, and also moisturizing ingredients make it ideal for dry skin. This weightless foundation is very buildable. The finish is semi-matte and very easy to apply.
Combination skin gets oily in the T-zone, and I tried this light foundation with a mattifying primer in my T-zone and Laura Mercier setting powder in that area to prevent an oil slick.
You can build up your coverage from sheer to medium by applying the 2nd or 3rd layer, but it’s not going to give you full coverage as it doesn’t conceal blemishes, marks, or spots completely.
I wouldn’t say I like applying layers and layers of foundation to get full coverage to cause the result to have been the cakey face, which I don’t like, but to my wonder, even after three layers, it doesn’t get cakey.
In my opinion, it’s a perfect daily wear foundation being weightless, waterproof, and minimizing pores. It doesn’t break me out or obstruct my pores.
It feels so light on my face and doesn’t sink into my pores. Also, after just a few days of using it, my skin seemed smoother. And it gives you a youthful and radiant glow to your skin.
The foundation applies well with a brush or a beauty blender. It’s pretty long-lasting. The shade matches pretty well with my natural skin tone. There are also numerous shades to browse.
It’s entirely buildable and feels overly lightweight on the skin. I like to blend it with my BB cream for some additional dampness, and it leaves my skin looking dewy and even.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation and Maybelline fit me foundation are the exact too faced born this way dupe.
Coverage
This foundation provides medium to full coverage, as promised. One layer provides medium coverage and hides all of my skin’s flaws, including a small amount of skin redness, an uneven skin tone, and a few acne scars.
It is simple to add more layers till full coverage is achieved. Due to my really troubled skin, including acne blemishes and dark circles, I want a little more coverage.
The foundation has a demi-matte texture and is very lightweight. Even after multiple layers of application, it doesn’t seem heavy or cakey.

Packaging
Too faced is known for its signature girly, pretty packaging. This foundation comes with a pump dispenser in an off-white glass bottle. The bottle looks very cute with the gold details, written overall, and on the cap. The small cute pack of this foundation is travel-friendly.
Texture/Consistency
It is a creamy liquid. Not runny, but it’s not overly thick either. It packs a massive amount of pigment.
Fragrance
It doesn’t have any heavy, annoying smell.
How it works:
It works on skin imperfections and even out the skin. For coverage so undetectable, you can’t see the makeup or uneven tone-just a natural-looking, luminous, flawless complexion.
How to apply Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
The foundation has a thin consistency. So Apply with a sponge, fingertips, or brushes. I prefer to use it either with my beauty blender or kabuki brush.
I need to squeeze out a pea-sized amount on the brush. If you need sheer coverage, I started to buff and mix it in one small step. It blended like fantasy and applied smoothly to the skin.
Use Translucent Loose setting powder for a soft matte and oil-free look.
